SASE @ Clarkson - First Annual Taste of Asia
On April 19th, SASE at Clarkson organized 1st Taste of Asia event at Ross-Brooks Dinning hall. With time and commitment SASE and Aramark(dinning service on campus) together served 500+ students, faculties, and staffs with varieties of authentic Asian cuisines.
We showcased Asian cuisine ranging from homemade egg rolls to pineapple-fried rice in the diverse atmosphere with great food and music.
Our menu highlighted authentic Asian cuisine such as:
· Miso Soup
· Vietnamese Egg Rolls
· Dumplings/Pot stickers
· Pad Thai
· Pineapple Fried Rice
· Chinese Broccoli with garlic ginger/miso
· Bok Choy with oyster sauce and garlic oil
· Mango Sticky Rice
· Bubble Tea
We had alot to fun showcasing different type of Asian culture through this event. We are very happy from the positive feed-backs from students, faculties and staffs. We can't wait to do it again!

Regional Conference Cohost @ Binghamton University
Our National Conference was an eye-opening event and there is no way that we will miss the next SASE conference. Our trip for the 3rd Annual North East Regional Conference at Binghamtom University was amazing. We were able to bring twenty-two members to the conference. This year we are one of the co-host chapter coordinate a panel regarding to "Innovation & Science". We invited Clarkson Professor, Dr. Evgeny Katz and Clarkson PhD Candidate, Fang Hua to speak about their research in their specific fields. It was a great networking experience for everyone and this opportunity have inspired many of our member about SASE mission. We can't wait to meet everyone again at the next National Convention!
Mentorship Program
We tried to be independent, but sometimes there are things that we just can't do alone. SASE offers a Mentorship Program to our members. We will connect the person who wants a mentor to an upperclassmen who can help them. The key to our Mentorship Program is not to find a personal tutor for our member but to set someone as an example for our member to follow and receive guidance from. Mentors can give each person tips and tricks in passing an exam, building resume, finding internship, co-op or research and so on; forming a bond between the mentor and the mentee.

It is election season! For those who are interested in being on the board and looking for leadership experience, here is your opportunity. Stepping up for a position or being part of team is essential for your communication and personal skills. Do you have what it takes? Then SASE Eboard is a place to be. Make a great contribution to your resume, the SASE family, and be part of SASE at Clarkson's legacy. Take the chance and see how you can bring SASE at Clarkson to another level. You can nominate yourself and other potential future leaders for SASE e-board positions for next year. However, you have to be a paid member. Dues are accepted prior to nomination, Tuesday, March 12th at 6pm in Snell 177. If there is a particular position you would be interested in being nominated for or any specific concerns regarding to the election process, please refer to the following link and download the SASE Election Packet. This academic year is ending soon. We want to celebrate it with you and end our year on a great note! We will have a group dinner and will be going to recognize members who have be active the most this academic year! Would we see you there! Location/Time will be announce soon!
